A READING choir is to hold a come and sing event in the town centre.
It is an opportunity for to sing Mozart’s Requiem. During the day, there will be coaching from musical director Christopher Hann.
Then, at 6pm, the piece will be performed in a concert that can be attended by anyone.
The event is organised by Reading Phoenix Choir and takes place at Greyfriars Church in Friar Street.
The workshop starts at 1pm, and costs £25 or £15 for under 18s if booked by January 26, or £30 on the door. This includes score hire.
The concert costs £5 per ticket.
