Reading FC midfielder Michael Craig has been linked with a summer transfer to newly promoted Championship side Portsmouth.
Pompey made their long awaited return to the Championship after they finished the 2023/24 League One campaign as champions on 97 points.
John Mousinho’s side will undoubtedly look to strengthen their squad over the summer and are interested in signing Craig, according to Football Insider.
Craig joined the Royals from Tottenham Hotspur in June 2022 and featured for the under 21s before he broke into the first-team this season.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder made a total of 36 appearances in all competitions and 28 league outings.
Despite putting in some decent displays across the season, Craig struggled to find regular game time towards the end of the campaign after manager Ruben Selles opted to move young midfielder Ben Elliott centrally to partner Lewis Wing.
