Reading FC midfielder Harvey Knibbs has reportedly ‘agreed personal terms’ with a Championship club over a potential transfer this month.
The Royals are under pressure to sell players this month to raise cash due to their ongoing financial problems.
Club owner Dai Yongge supposedly put the club up for sale more than a year ago, but he remains in charge despite reported negotiations with several parties across the past 12 months.
The latest player to be linked with a move away is Knibbs, who has caught the attention of plenty of Championship teams.
According to a BBC Radio Derby reporter, Knibbs has agreed personal terms with the Rams and the two clubs are ‘close’ to finalising an agreed fee.

Knibbs joined the Royals on a free transfer from Cambridge United in 2023.
Originally being deployed on the wing, Knibbs found his best form being playing as a central attacking midfielder for the Royals after Ruben Selles tweaked his formation.
He enjoyed an excellent first campaign with the club and netted 16 times in 53 games in all competitions.
He has carried that form into this season and has already hit double figures in all competitions, scoring 10 times in 23 games, including eight goals in League One.
