READING FC legend Mick Gooding helped Spencers Wood FC to celebrate their presentation day to mark the 2023/24 season.
Gooding, who made more than 300 appearances for Reading as a player before having a three-year stint as manager, was on hand to give out the awards.
Gooding & Co Estate Agents, co-founded by Gooding, sponsor a team at Spencers Wood FC which sees their company logo on the front of their shirts.
The day also included a tombola, a silent auction and a penalty target competition.
“The presentation day was really well organised, albeit very poor weather at times,” said Gooding.
“I was really impressed with the set up and you can see why there are so many people wanting to play and train at the football club.
“It’s a terrific set up, right in the heart of the community which I think is great.”
