ON SATURDAY, Reading’s regular celebration of plant-based living returned to Forbury Gardens.

Reading Vegan Fiesta brings together more than 40 vendors, including food and products, as well as live entertainment and activities.

Sparkle Vegan Events’ Sarah Zeneli said: “We were so pleased with the turnout, with thousands attending once again.

“It was a little chillier than expected but the sun was shining so it’s always lovely to see people sitting out on the lawns at Forbury Gardens.

“They enjoyed the stalls and the band, and we had more than 50 people take part in our dance workshops.”

She explained: “We’ve had some great feedback commending the variety of the stalls as well as the opportunity to try something new.
