“I don’t feel that I can do this person justice in just 250 words,” said Trish Bennett’s nominator for Community Champion.

“Trish has been at the heart of her community in Whitley for years,” they said.

“ She is that person in your community that you know that you can go to if you need help, advice, comfort, support – you name it, Trish is there for you.

“She is a powerhouse fundraiser keeping Whitley Community Development Association running and all of the activities that they run that are a refuge and safe haven for many people in the community,” they added.

“For many people who have no one, Trish is there. Her door is open to anyone who needs it. She is also one of those beautiful people who takes the time to meet with you and give you confidence about new concepts, exciting new events.
