Neighbourhood Champion – sponsor Reading Football Club
Reading Football Club returns once again as a sponsor for this year’s awards, this time sponsoring the Neighbourhood Champion award.
The award recognises a person who works tirelessly in their neighbourhood, in the voluntary sector, as a carer, for a community group or charity by devoting their time to others.
Jackie Evans said: “We like to feel that we’re a community club– we’ve been around for over 150 years, and the community has given a lot to the club, so we’re glad to be part of it and want to continue to give back.
“The community is integral – it’s part of us– so it’s only right that we should be part of the Pride of Reading Awards
