Connect Reading have 20 years of connecting businesses and charities under their belts with their events and campaigns linking almost £3million worth of resources to charities and schools in our town.

Their nominator for Charity of the Year said their impact on the local environment and community can be seen in their much-loved and widely recognised Giving Tree Campaign.

“Their management of Reading’s amazing RESCUE (Rivers and Environmental Spaces Clean Up Event) for more than 12 years has helped clean up our town’s green and blue spaces,” they added.

“The impact they make on local micro businesses also helps connect communities with the local economy.

“Connect Reading’s twentieth year is an ideal time to recognise and celebrate the incredible positive impact they’ve had on the town, and to feel great ‘pride’ in all they’ve achieved,” their nominator added.

The award is sponsored by Roc Search.
