Vastern Road has reopened after a serious collision involving two motorbikes in Reading.
The road was closed between Caversham Road and George Street following a crash at about 2.15am on Saturday (26 September).
Thames Valley Police said two motorbikes were involved and officers believe three people were travelling on the bikes.
One person is believed to have left the scene without stopping.
Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed to vehicles and pedestrians while emergency services dealt with the incident and carried out enquiries.
It has since reopened, with the closure lifted a couple of hours ago.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage from the area around the time of the collision to come forward.
Anyone who saw the motorbikes before or after the crash, or has relevant dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage, is asked to contact Thames Valley Police.

Despite the earlier closure, Reading railway station, nearby car parks and businesses remained open as usual.
