A DATE has been set for the 2024 running of an annual community event.
The Kenyans in Reading Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, August 3, at the Atrium Health Club, Scours Lane.
In 2023, the event attracted around 2,000 visitors, who revelled in the activities, competitions, collective spirit and a succulent barbecue on offer.
The purpose of the fun day is to promote cultural harmony, with residents of all backgrounds welcome to attend.
Launched in 2014, the event was initially hosted at Winnersh Community Centre, but was held at Scours Lane for the first time this year.
