Football round-up: Town throw away three points, Woodley United LFC earn first league victory

Wokingham Town threw away a two-goal lead in the Combined Counties Premier League North at Virginia Water last Saturday.

Two goals from Connor Richardson saw the Sumas ahead before a spirited fight back by the hosts.

Tuesday night#s much anticipated local derby at Reading city fell victim to the weather.

Last Saturday, the Cityzens has their fixture at British Airways postponed.

Woodley United, third in Division One, also saw their math last Saturday fall victim to the weather

In the Premier Division of the Southern Region Women’s Football League, there was joy for Woodley United Ladies who collected their first win of the season – emerging 1-2 winners at Oxford City. Woodley moved off the bottom on goal difference.
