A CELEBRATION of the east Reading community and beyond is coming to a popular park later this month.
Tutu Melaku is organising a one-day festival at her Ethiopian Table in Palmer Park, off Wokingham Road.
It will include performances from Reading-based musicians and poets, as well as Ethiopian dancers.
Her food truck will make an appearance, and the emphasis will be on relaxing in the sun, eating and enjoying.
A statement on her poster says: “For many years I’ve dreamt of holding my own festival and finally, this year, that dream will come true.”
The event runs from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday, June 29.
