Ella Traynor-Smith scored a spectacular hat-trick for Wokingham Town Ladies on her senior debut to help Sumas to a 5-1 win at Wargrave Women & Girls in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football league Division Three South.

It was Sumas’ first of the season and just their second in 2025.

Traynor-Smith played for Sumas as a junior, and she was joined on the scoresheet by Milanna Betsy who hit two. Alison Richardson was on target for Wargrave.

In Division One, Lauren Broadhurst scored two as Ashridge Park Women won 0-3 at Yateley United Ladies. Finchampstead Ladies won 1-6 at Marlow Town Women, while Finchampstead Ladies Reserves won 3-0 versus Brook House Women.

In the Development Division, Arborfield Women returned from Longford Park Vixens with a 0-3 win.

The Combined Counties Premier Division North local derby between Wokingham Town and Reading City ended 1-1, with Sam Lynskey hitting the equaliser for Sumas in the fifth minute of added time, cancelling a 76th minute penalty for the Citizens from Stefan Brown.
