Diligient and professional Alex nominated for Pride of Reading’s Employee of the Year award

AN employee of REDA, Reading’s Economic & Destination Agency, who “has been instrumental in enhancing Reading as a destination venue for locals and tourists,” has been put forward for a Pride of Reading award.

Alex Brannen has been nominated for Employee of the Year, sponsored by Reading Buses.

His nominator said: “Having dealt with him personally, I find him an extremely diligent professional and an absolute credit to Reading. We’re a better place for him.”

They added: “Some of his recent accomplishments include the HUGELY successful brand new Reading Walks Festival, the Huntley & Palmers Festival, the tourist information stand at Reading Station, the What’s On Reading website and the new destination website, Visit Reading.
