A fast food noodle bar in Reading town centre has been allowed to keep on selling food until 4am in the morning.
Chopstix is a Pan-Asian food chain in Broad Street that has been open in Reading since 2017.
It is known for serving up noodle, egg fried rice and cauliflower rice boxes and extras to customers.
The operating company applied to stay open until 4am each day in an application submitted to Reading Borough Council on May 22.
They had requested permission to sell food and non alcoholic drinks past 11pm, which is called late night refreshment in licensing law.
The application was granted following the end of a statutory consultation that concluded on June 19.
A licensing officer has clarified that customers may enter the premises until 4am.
Deliveries may also take place from the store up to 4am from websites such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.
Chopstix underwent a £100,000 upgrade in February 2023, which involved a fresh new look throughout and the installation of digital ordering screens.
The unit was previously occupied by the Mango Bean cafe, which is evident from streetview imagery from 2016.
Chopstix also has locations in Slough, the M4 Membury Eastbound services and the M40 Beaconsfield services.
