EASTER holidays are here, and thoughts for many will be turning to days out, especially with the clocks going forward this weekend – summer time is here.

To help people make the most of it, railcard.co.uk has compiled a list of six potential visits to make by train, with two-for-one offers available on some days out.

It says that those with a Senior or 16-25 railcard can save a third off off-peak fares across the year, all for an annual fee of £30.

The Savill Garden, Windsor – 2FOR1

The Savill Garden is a 35-acre haven of gardens, woodland and seasonal displays that people of all ages can explore together, making it the perfect day out for grandparents and grandchildren.

Commissioned by George V and created by Eric Savill in 1932, it has delighted nature lovers, photographers, friends and families.
