EMERGENCY crews were called to a road traffic collision on the M4 earlier this month.

The incident happened between junctions 11 and 12 on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway, at 4.55pm on Tuesday, December 5.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Theale Community Fire Station was sent to the scene, which involved two vehicles.

They made it safe before handing over to a team from Thames Valley Police.

The fire brigade was at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
