Two arrested following incident outside Reading Crown Court

THAMES Valley Police has made two arrests following an incident outside Reading Crown Court on Thursday, March 9.

Police posted to social media to say that they were dealing with a “minor incident” outside the court, but that the situation had been “brought under control.”

Two arrests have been made, with one person arrested under suspicion of a public order offence, and another under suspicion of having assaulted an emergency worker.

The full post reads: “Please be aware we have been dealing with a minor disorder at Reading Crown Court this afternoon.

“The situation is under control and officers arrested two people, one on suspicion of a public order offence and the other on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.”
