AN EXPERT from Prague is coming to Reading this weekend to explore the representations of monsters in video games.
Dr Jarosłav Švelch from Charles University is to visit Reading Museum in Blagrave Street on Saturday, to explore the subject of Player Vs Monster … The Making and Breaking of Video Game Monstrosity.
He will ask whether games will offer the potential for more nuanced representations of monstrosity.
The event starts at 3pm on Saturday, November 25, and lasts an hour. Places cost £3.
