A WALKING tour of Caversham will take place next week, offering a chance to discover the village in a new way.
Janina Maher has created an illustrated guide showcasing many familiar landmarks, and on Thursday, November 30 she will team up with Terry Dixon for a walkabout to find them.
The book features 28 buildings, and Terry’s walkabout will take participants on a tour to find some of them.
Places on the tour are limited, and it starts at 10am from the Caversham Health Club, ending in a book signing at Fourbears Books in Prospect Street.
It costs £5 to reserve a space on the walk, which is split between Mr Dixon’s charities: PACT, and Royal Berks Charity.
