READING FC WOMEN welcomed back a familiar face with the loan signing of Jade Moore from Manchester United.
Kelly Chambers has bolstered her options in midfield by bringing Moore back to the club until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old midfielder originally joined Reading back in 2017 and played three seasons at the club, making 47 Women’s Super League appearances and netting eight goals.
Since moving from the Royals, she has played for Orlando Pride, Atletico Madrid and most recently Man United.
She has made just three appearances for United in the WSL this campaign which has seen her opt to make the loan move in search of more minutes.
Moore also has a wealth of experience at international level having represented England 51 times since 2012.
“With Jade, we know exactly the type of player we’re getting,” said Royals boss Chambers.
“Having a player of her experience, in the position she plays, you often need a steady influence in the middle of the pitch in those big matches and moments.
“She offers us just as much in possession as well as out, and with her experience she can often see attacks building, one, two, three passes ahead of time.
“So I’m really pleased we were able to get this deal done and welcome Jade back.”
