Reading FC have confirmed when supporters will get their first look at the club’s new away kit for the 2026/27 season.
The Royals have announced that the strip will be unveiled on Friday, 7 August, completing the release of the club’s home and away kits ahead of the new campaign.
While the design has not yet been officially revealed, the away shirt is expected to feature a hooped pattern.
The launch comes after Reading unveiled their new home kit at the end of July, with fans now waiting to see the club’s second strip ahead of the start of the season.
The club will also be releasing a third kit, however no launch date has yet been announced.
Supporters are expected to be able to purchase the new away shirt following its official unveiling on 7 August.
The Royals compete in their first game of the new season away at Bromley in the EFL Cup on Saturday. August 8 before they host Luton Town in League One on Saturday, August 15.
