READING band Selina and the Howlin Dogs, is set to release its third album this month.
After the successful debut studio album Blues Revisited and the award-winning Live at the Harlington release, the band continue their journey of exploring blues fused with rock and funk with an urban vibe.
This third album entitled Biscuit City pays tribute to where it all began and has a rockier edge.
The early singles for the album such as Woman, Who’s That Girl and Rock the Party gained great airplay landing on #14 on the IBBA top 40 album playlist earlier this year.
Full album is also available on Bandcamp for physical CD and on Spotify as well as the usual other digital channels. Launch gig will be on Saturday 16th of September at the Wotton Blues festival, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire.
Drummer Tobi Anderson said: “We have high hopes for the new album as the debut studio and live album both hit the IBBA top 40 album playlist in 2022 resulting in opening for Geno Washington and the Ram Jam band, Dr Feelgood and Emma Wilson Band.
“The Live at The Harlington release won Live Album of the Year 2022 by Docs Blues Awards on Severn FM which resulted in being aired across 20 plus blues radio stations and shows in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and the US.”
Biscuit City will be released on Bandcamp, Spotify and the usual digital channels.
