PROGRESS Theatre has announced that submissions are now open for WriteFest 20.
WriteFest is an annual fixture at the theatre which showcases brand new writing from local playwrights by bringing their work to the stage.
Progress takes submissions of original, unperformed plays, seeking works with a running time between 8 and 18 minutes, including monologues and multi‑character works.
This year celebrates the themes of ‘Unheard Voices’, ‘Untold Stories’, and 80 Years of Progress
Writers must be living within a 20‑mile radius of Reading, and submissions must be made in Word document format.
Submissions can be made via: writefest@progresstheatre.co.uk
