A READING band has announced a ‘final’ home-town show ahead of a new era next month.

Only The Poets have posted to social media to announce a homecoming gig in November–however they have teased that it will be the “last chance to see the [band] you know.”

The band have described the show as the “end of a chapter,” seemingly ushering in a new chapter for the band.

It comes after a historic year for the band which saw them celebrate their debut album’s release back in January, which they marked with a special gig at 3Sixty.

That same week, they made headline news with an iconic live show at Brixton’s O2 Academy, where the band charged just £1 for tickets in a bold effort to make sure that fans were not priced out of the event.

After a busy year of touring, Only The Poets are now teasing a new era for the outfit.
