POLICE are on the scene of a suspected ram raid in Emmer Green.
Details have yet to be released, but BBC Radio Berkshire said that the Esso Tesco Express petrol station on Buckingham Drive.
There are reports of a damaged 4×4 on the forecourt and debris everywhere.
The front of the store has been extensively damaged and the station is closed at this time.
Over the road there is a damaged car by a tree. It is not known if it is connected to the incident.
Reading Buses are running diversions, as it cannot serve Peppard Road towards Sonning Common.
Buses will use Hemdean Hill instead.
