Residents in Kennet Island had the opportunity to meet emergency services and local policing teams at a community event organised by Neighbourhood Watch.
The South Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the event, which was designed to give residents the chance to learn more about the roles of emergency services and how they help keep local communities safe.
Officers and partner agencies spoke to residents in an informal setting, answering questions and providing information about community safety.
The event also encouraged residents to get involved with Neighbourhood Watch, which provides crime prevention advice and updates on local community safety issues.
Neighbourhood Watch members can also become part of a local network working with others to help improve safety in their communities.
Police said they were encouraging anyone interested in getting involved to sign up to the scheme.
The event was attended by a number of partner organisations and local residents.
The South Neighbourhood Policing Team thanked everyone who took part and helped organise the event.
