Amadou Mbengue was first on the scoresheet before a Lewis Wing rocket and second-half goals from Charlie Savage and Sam Smith helped Ruben Selles’ side to take three points in the 4-1 win.
The Royals are back in action on Tuesday night away to high flying Exeter City, who are in 5th place on 19 points from 10 games.
