A new noodle and sushi bar has opened in Reading town centre.
SU’ME has opened in Broad Street between The Alehouse pub and Caffe Nero.
Its website states: “SU’ME is a fast food restaurant specialising in providing mouthwatering noodles and delectable sushi.
“Our mission is to offer a quick and convenient dining experience without compromising on the quality and taste of our food.
“Whether you’re a noodle enthusiast or a sushi lover, we have something for everyone.”
A SU’ME staff member mentioned that seating is available upstairs.
Deliveries are available via Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat and Hungry Panda, according to its website.
The business was opened in April, in the premises previously occupied by House of Doner and Chipstar.
Both of the preceding businesses closed after less than a year of operating.
Chipstar opened in December 2021 but closed during the summer of 2022.
The building was brought back to life with the opening of House of Doner in September last year, but only lasted a few months.
Before that, the building was occupied by a vape shop.
