An Independent movie theatre in Reading could host late screenings and entertainment into the night.

The Biscuit Factory is an independent cinema at Broad Street Mall that opened in July 2021.

It has shown a number of arthouse and mainstream films and hosted events since then.

The cinema was rescued in January last year after the original operator, the Really Local Group, went into administration.

The Biscuit Factory is now run by RIENT Ltd and is currently open from 10am to 11pm Tuesday to Sunday.

Its website states that it opens on Mondays for Bank Holidays and during school holidays from 10am to 11pm, and that it hosts Quiz Mondays in the Foyer upstairs from 5pm to 10pm.
