A READING pub is welcoming some fresh faces with some new jokes when it holds an open mic night next week.
The Outlook in Kings Road is holding the session on Monday, September 4, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
There will be five acts taking to the stage for their first time. Organisers say audiences should expect big laughs, moments of cringe, and plenty of revelations.
And they welcome new acts to come forward.
Tickets cost £2 in advance or £5 on the door, and the event is organised by Mates Rates Comedy.
