THERE are lots of opportunities this month to attend free events focused on climate and the environment.
Reading Climate Festival is running a two-week programme (Saturday, June 6 to Saturday, June 20), with activities including nature walks, creative workshops, talks and sessions on making homes more energy efficient.
It’s a good chance to pick up ideas, meet people and try something new, says Wokingham Borough Council.
People can also talk to Wokingham Borough Council’s own Climate and My Journey Wokingham teams at Dinton Pastures on Friday, June 12, from 1pm to 4pm.
The teams will be near the wooden footbridge by the play park.
People are invited to drop in for an informal chat about saving energy at home, solar panels, greener travel or what’s happening locally.
No booking is needed, and people can just turn up.
