A former Reading FC player who was jailed for his role in a Class A drugs conspiracy has been ordered to disclose details of his finances as part of proceeds of crime proceedings.
Thierry Nevers, 24, was sentenced to three years in prison in December after admitting conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
At a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday, the court was told that forensic accounting evidence relating to Nevers was still outstanding.
Judge James House KC adjourned the proceeds of crime hearing until 2 October and told Nevers: “There is still ongoing work in your case.
“You will need to co-operate with your solicitor.”
Nevers, of Severn Way, Tilehurst, came through the youth system at Reading FC before later having spells with West Ham United, Newport County and Bradford City.
Following his conviction, Lincolnshire Police described him as a “known Instagram content maker, bragging about drug dealing in his videos”.
The hearing also dealt with Nevers’ co-defendant, Allan Barrass, 50, of Main Street, Dorrington, Lincolnshire, who is serving a 10-year prison sentence after admitting three drugs offences and one firearms offence.
The court heard Barrass had benefited by £221,028 from his criminal activity but had assets worth £13,746 that could be recovered.
Judge House ordered him to repay that amount within three months.
Lincolnshire Police said its investigation found Nevers had made regular trips between south Lincolnshire and the Reading area.
Officers examined mobile phones and found contact between Nevers and Barrass, as well as evidence linked to the supply of Class A drugs.
Barrass was arrested on 6 August last year.
A search of his property uncovered a cannabis grow in his garage, 40g (1.4oz) of cocaine, £5,860 in cash and a number of weapons, including a lock knife, an extending baton and a baseball bat.
Police also recovered a loaded sawn-off shotgun containing two cartridges from the address.
