Thames Valley Women’s Development

WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK picked up their eighth win in 14 matches with a 2-1 triumph against Longford Park Vixens.

Rebecca Greig opened the scoring for the Sumas and Lucy Wood hit a 77th minute winner.

The Sumas are in fourth on 26 points from 14 games.

BERKS COUNTY earned a stunning 5-1 win away at Wraysbury Village.

Bambi Banda, Isabelle Bennett and Jess Brome-Mbaya were all on target for the Swords, while Kiah Owen scored a brace to seal the big away win.

Southern Region Women’s Premier

WOODLEY UNITED had to settle for a point in their away encounter with Wycombe Wanderers.

Sarah Lawrence netted early in the game to put the Kestrels in front, but Wycomeb levelled in the first-half and that’s how it ended.

Woodley sit in fourth position on 15 points from 10 games.

Southern Region Women’s League Cup

EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA were on the end of a thumping home defeat to Eastleigh in the Community as they were knocked out of the cup.

The Boars found themselves four goals behind at the break, and despite a second-half goal from Darcey Young, they lost 6-1.

Southern Region Women’s Division One North

ASCOT UNITED RESERVES were beaten at home against Chesham United Development.

The only goal of the game was scored with four minutes to play which saw Ascot defeated for the sixth time in 12 matches.

Thames Valley Women’s Division One

TILEHURST PANTHERS kept in touch with the top two with an away success at ASHRIDGE PARK.

Lilly-May Varney scored for Ashridge, but the visitors took the points with strikes from Deanna Cane, Georgia Hayes and Lydia Vettese.

Thames Valley Women’s Division Two

S4K LADIES picked up a home point in a goalless draw with East Oxford.

The result puts them in sixth place on nine points from 11 games.

 

SANDHURST WOLVES were defeated 4-2 at home to league leaders Wallingford & Crowmarsh.

FINCHAMPSTEAD’s exceptional run continued as they made it 10 wins from 11 matches to claim top spot.

Chloe Bagshaw and Ebony Day netted to help them to a 2-1 success over CAVERSHAM AFC.

Finch now lead Yateley United by one point and still have a game in hand.
