THREE people had to be rescued from a fairground ride earlier this week.
The incident happened just before 4.15pm on Sunday, April 21, at George Street in Caversham.
A team from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Wokingham Road and Theale stations were sent to the scene, along with an aerial ladder platform.
The ride’s occupants were trapped six metres off the ground, and the platform was used to reach them.
It took crews 43 minutes to complete the rescue.
