Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a dog was seriously injured in Christchurch Meadows, Reading.
Officers say they want to speak to a man who was in the area at around 5.45pm on Saturday 28 March 2026, as he may be able to assist with their investigation.
It is believed the man was walking two black dogs which were initially on leads. However, the dogs are thought to have broken free and became involved in an incident with another dog.
The other dog sustained serious injuries and required extensive veterinary treatment.
Police have released an image of a man they wish to identify and are urging anyone who recognises him, witnessed the incident, or has any relevant information to come forward.
