THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a road collision left a cyclist with serious injuries in Reading.
A black Audi Q5 SUV S was involved in a collision with the cyclist on Erleigh Road.
The Audi did not stop at the scene, and was found abandoned a short distance away from the scene.
The occupants are described as two men in their early 20s, both wearing tracksuits. One of the men is described as Asian–no further descriptions have currently been given.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, sustained a serious leg injury and is undergoing hospital treatment.
Investigating officer PS Robert Oliver-Clayson, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident which has left a man with serious injuries.
“I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward and ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to please review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
