Reading FC fans were treated to a special day as they were invited to see the club’s training ground at Bearwood Park.

The men’s first-team officially moved into Bearwood in 2019, but this is the first time that fans have had full access to see where the team operates.

Season ticket holders were able to meet first-team players from both the men’s and women’s team as well as first-team manager Noel Hunt, CEO Joe Jacobson and other key staff members.

Chairman Rob Couhig took to X to thanks all of the staff, players and volunteers.

He said: “Thank you to every member of the staff, players, and all volunteers. Bearwood Day was a huge success . Special thanks to Jackie Evans for expertly organizing , Noel for greeting the fans for hours, and Joe, members of the administrative group , Michael, and the Academy for being great hosts. I am glad so many had a chance to see and experience Bearwood and spend time with our great staff, coaches, and players. It was exciting to have people meet @bluntphil and see the new home of Royalstv. We have a special season upon us.”

CEO Jacobson added: “A brilliant day at Bearwood. I had a great time meeting so many of the fans and thanking them for their support of the club. We hope you all enjoyed it. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped to put the day together.”
