READING FC and manager Ruben Selles have been charged by the FA for an alleged breach of rules during their game against Exeter City.

It has been alleged by the Football Association that the club and manager breached Rules E12 and E10 respectively after failing to comply with his automatic suspension.

A statement released by the official spokesperson of the FA reads: “Reading and Ruben Selles have been charged following their EFL League One game against Exeter City on Monday, 1 January.

“It’s alleged that the club and manager breached FA Rules E12 and E10 respectively as he participated in this fixture, and therefore they failed to comply with his automatic suspension.
