PROGRESS Theatre is returning with a tragic production for its latest show in Reading.
The company is set to bring Blood Wedding to the boards, which follows a tale of doomed love among two young people frustrated by the limits of tradition and wealth.
Old family feuds return to the surface as generational grief and resentments are stirred in a three-part folk tragedy written by Federico Garcia Lorca and translated by A. S. Kline.
Blood Wedding is showing at Progress Theatre, The Mount, as part of their Progress Youth programme, from 7.45pm, Wednesday-Saturday, November 1-4.
Tickets are £15, £13 for concessions, available via: progresstheatre.co.uk
