A mum of three who started a cleaning company to earn some extra money has been nominated for the Business in Action under 50 employees award, sponsored by Boyes Turner.
Nicola Dye now employs local people from local communities across Berkshire, said her nominator. She advocates using local suppliers, linking arms with other independent businesses and pushing herself to always be her best, they added.
The company won the Best New Business award at Newbury Weekly News Best in Business Awards this year.
Judges said: “One company stood out for their value in the community, their employee welfare and their business growth and potential. The West Berkshire Cleaning Company won the award and it was well deserved.”
