POLICE have released an e-fit image of a person officers are seeking in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Reading.
It comes after at around 8.11am on Wednesday, June 24, a man approached a woman outside McDonalds on Oxford Road and inappropriately touched her over her clothing.
Around 15 minutes later, the same man approached a woman on Castle Hill, outside Lightbox and inappropriately touched her over her clothing.
The suspect, as depicted in the e-fit image is a white man, in his twenties, with blonde hair, blonde goatee and acne scarring on his face. He was wearing black shorts, a black top and had a black backpack.
Investigating officer PC Jacques Mitchell said: ” I am releasing this e-fit image and would ask anybody who believes that they recognise the man depicted, or who believes they witnessed this incident to please get in contact with us.
“You can make a report online, or by calling 101, quoting reference 43260318028 for the incident on Oxford Road and reference 43260319967 for the incident on Castle Hill.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
