A MAN in his thirties has been left with head injuries and broken teeth following an incident just outside Reading town centre on Saturday.
The incident happened around 5.30pm on December 30, in Crown Street, close to London Road.
Thames Valley Police said they were called by a member of the public who saw the altercation.
They described the victim’s injuries as being at GBH level, and he is thought to have had grey paint on him. He was taken to hospital and has been discharged.
Police said the other man was white, with a shaved head. He was not at the scene when they arrived, and appeared to be uninjured.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Grace Dooey, of Reading CID, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of Crown Street and witnessed this incident to please get in touch with police.
“I would be particularly keen to hear from anybody who may be able to identify the offender, or who has dash-cam, mobile phone camera or CCTV footage of the incident to come forward.
