Thames Valley Women’s Division One

TILEHURST PANTHERS moved another step closer to clinching the league title with an empathic win at Goring United.

The Panthers struck four times in each half on their way to another impressive victory.

There were braces for both Deanna Cane and Thea Wraight and goals for Georgia Hayes, Lydia Vettese, Tilly Waight and Leah Why.

Tilehurst now cannot be caught by second placed Slough Town who have must one league game left and are four points behind and are six points above Larkspur Rovers having both played 17 games.

ASHRIDGE PARK are in fourth following their away triumph at Haddenham Youth.

Thames Valley Women’s Division 3S

FINCHAMPSTEAD remain in pole position after they scored five in an away win at Hawley.

There was a hat-trick for Laruen Smaje and goals for Chloe Bagshaw and Ebony Day in the 5-2 triumph.

Finch are top of the table with one game to go, but are level on points with AFC Caversham who have two games left and third placed Yateley United are only four points behind both with three games left.

CAVERSHAM AFC earned their 16th win in 18 matches with a home win over Ruislip Rangers 2s.

Strikes from Pia Davis and Katy McNicholas guided them to a 2-0 win to keep them firmly in the title race.

YATELEY UNITED came out victorious in a nine goal thriller with AFC READING as they strengthened their push for top spot.

There were braces Georgia Harris and Hannah Woolf and a goal for Megan Worthington which helped Yateley to a 5-4 win.


Thames Valley Women’s Development

ARBORFIELD dropped down to second bottom in the table following their 4-0 loss at Longford Park Vixens.

Arborfield finish the league campaign in 11th on seven points from 22 matches.
