THE FAMILY of a young man who died in a road traffic collision in Reading have paid tribute to “a beautiful, amazing… son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.”

Henry Templeton, aged just 21, from Reading, died following a collision in Vastern Road which took place on Saturday, September 26.

His family have paid tribute to him: “There are no words to truly explain the impact the loss of Henry, our brother, has had on us all.

“He was unapologetically himself in every scenario of life. He brought chaos, laughter and love wherever he went. He had the biggest heart and, underneath all the jokes and stubbornness, he was a beautiful, amazing person who cared so deeply about others. He was a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend to many.

“The space he leaves in our family is devastating. It doesn’t feel real that we have to say goodbye to someone who should have had a whole life ahead of him. There were supposed to be more memories, more moments together and so much more life to live.

“I hope you knew how loved you were, and how important your role was in all of our lives.

“This has been a wake-up call to cherish your loved ones – hug them when you next see them, tell them you love them. Life is unexpected, and ours now has a heartbreaking loss where the biggest ray of sunshine once was.

“Henry was happy no matter what life threw at him. He smiled, he stayed positive, and he brought that light with him wherever he went. That is something we hope we can learn to do ourselves as we navigate the pain we feel now that you are no longer with us.

“Rest in paradise, Henry.

“We will forever love you x”
