AFTER it was announced last week that it would be cleared to reopen, an indie venue in Reading has announced when its doors will be open once again.
Now that Reading Biscuit Factory’s renewed premises license has been approved, the local cinema has confirmed that it will be open again from Thursday, July 9.
While the team at Reading Biscuit Factory had originally expected to be able to reopen sooner, a statement to members explained that they were in the process of “reviewing all policies and procedures to ensure that [they] are in line with the conditions of [the] license.”
The statement explained: “To our customers, members, event holders, and community partners, we would like to express our sincere apologies for the extended closure and uncertainty around the status of the venue.
“Thank you for bearing with us during this very challenging period.”
Those who are registered as members with the venue will see their membership extended by 39 as a result of the closure.
