At 2:57am on Saturday, 20 June, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Culver Lane in Earley.
One service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew found a cat stuck in a vehicle engine bay, before safely rescuing it.
They were on scene for approximately 27 minutes.
