The excitement of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup is mounting after the publication of the early round draws in this season’s competition.

Finchampstead Ladies, in what will be their first ever FA Cup match, will face Milton United, while Ashridge Park have been drawn at home to Highworth Town.

Caversham United will travel to Penn & Tylers Green, as will Tilehurst Panthers who have been drawn away to Manorcroft United.

Reading FC Women and Woodley United Ladies will enter the competition at the second qualifying round stage,

Reacting to the draw, Duncan Owen, head of women and girls football at Ashridge Park, told Wokingham Today; “ We’re pleased to be playing another team from step 7, but the most important thing for us is to finally have the chance of playing an FA cup tie in front of our own fans after missing out on that last year.

“We’re fortunate to have a great set of supporters, so to have the chance to share this with them will be great.
