Did you work with Michael (Mick) Donnelly at West New Homes Limited?
Boyes Turner’s Mesothelioma and Asbestos Disease Claims Team have been instructed by Mick Donnelly following his diagnosis of Mesothelioma.
Between 1973 – 1976, Mick, after leaving school did an apprenticeship with a company called West New Homes Limited. The apprenticeship was in carpentry and joinery. West New Homes Limited was a company based in Reading. Asbestos containing materials were regularly used during his apprenticeship by all trades.
We require further information about Mick’s role and the circumstances of asbestos exposure during his time at West New Homes Limited. Mick and his family are appealing for anyone who worked at the company and who might be able to provide information as to how he came into contact with asbestos.
Mick is being represented by Laura Magson, who leads the Industrial Disease team at Boyes Turner Solicitors. Laura explains ““From my work representing asbestos disease sufferers and their families, I am well aware that asbestos was commonly used in the 1960s and 1970s. It would be really helpful to speak to any of Mick’s former colleagues who can shed light on how he might have come into contact with asbestos during his period of employment at West New Homes Limited, as they may have valuable information that can assist with his case.”
