A MAN attending a popular rally was left with a broken leg and a damaged knee during an attack police are treating as a GBH.
They are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The incident took place at some point between 10pm and midnight on Saturday, June 10, in the beer tent of the Stoke Row Steam Rally.
The victim was a 27-year-old man, and police say the attack happened both inside and outside the tent.
There were two offenders.
The first is described as a white man in his mid-thirties, about 5ft 10ins tall, of muscular build, with slicked back blonde hair which was cut close on the sides.
The second is also a white man in his mid-thirties, about 6ft tall, of muscular build, with scruffy short hair which shaved on the sides and back and longer on top.
The victim was treated at hospital for a broken leg and ligament damage to his knee, but has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, DC Peter Coals said: “There were several hundred people in the vicinity of the beer tent at the time of the assault, therefore there will be a number of witnesses.
